Naskali is an old Finnish family name that can be traced back to the 18th century. At that time, three brothers said their goodbyes to the town of Pori and started their journeys to different sides of the country. One of these brothers stayed in Laukko as a crofter, while the other two continued their pilgrimage to Karjala. Today, there are roughly 500 individuals who bear the Naskali name.
